Elie and Mireille Haddad are team leaders for the MENA region, based in Beirut, Lebanon. Joining CBM in 2005, Elie initially served as Provost of the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary until 2008 when he became President. Mireille originally served at an orphanage working with school children. She then worked with Heart for Lebanon, a Lebanese Christian relief organization for more than 10 years. She currently tutors courses for ABTS certificate students and has developed impactful women’s ministry programs and educational materials, particularly for refugees. 

The couple have strong academic backgrounds, including Elie’s PhD in Missional Ecclesiology and Mireille’s Master’s in Interior Architecture. Passionate about community and faith, they are active in local church ministry and enjoy hiking and traveling.
