Without reliable access to nutritious food, families face significant challenges, ranging from health problems to children’s developmental delays and difficulty maintaining steady employment or education. Your gift supports initiatives across 11 countries, helping families where support is needed the most.

Contact your local food bank or school breakfast program to learn about their most urgent needs and see how you can make a difference.
As the mother of a typical family in rural Bolivia, Gladys says: “Since I have children, I worry about what I have to give them, sometimes we don’t have enough and [my husband] has to travel to work elsewhere to bring a little income.”
But there is hope. CBM’s partner, OBADES, has been teaching the skills of beekeeping to help households increase their incomes.
Gladys says: “I always want my children to be better than us, to have a better life. Now with the bees, I am grateful; we hope to take advantage of it very well to improve the life in my family.” Furthermore, Gladys is a community leader who encourages her neighbors to get more involved in opportunities like this to make better living conditions for their families and community.
Your gift helps feed families where support is needed the most. Through creative solutions and programs, the barriers of poverty and food insecurity are being removed.
Donor Ornament
A fun way for your church to visually show participation in Shared Hopeful Gifts is through the donor ornaments! Download the file, cut them out, have participants write their name on an ornament once they’ve donated, and hang them on a tree or on a wall in your church.
