Crisis Response
Crisis Response – Help Provide Care for Refugees
For refugees fleeing to Cyrus and the Greek island of Lesvos, living conditions are challenging. Your gift supports a relational ministry approach for the most vulnerable, providing more dignified access to support for hygiene, food, clothing, and other necessities. This results in an improved quality of life, positive relationships with refugee families, refugees’ increased self-confidence, and faithful witness.
$500 helps provide care for refugees for one month.

An 18-year-old refugee known as Junior is alone in Cyprus and has had trouble accessing basic services and education.
But there is hope. Staff from CBM’s partner, All4Aid, have walked alongside him, helping to navigate the difficulties associated with finding stable housing. Now Junior is a community volunteer actively involved in these various programs.
Junior says, “I was thinking just about me, my needs, and my problems, but having the support from All4Aid helped me to think about other people, to pray for them, and to offer my help to those who are in need. To me, this project means practicing what Jesus asks us to do as his followers: sharing love, hope, and encouragement to all people around us. My hope for the future is to be able to fulfill my education, become a doctor, and offer my help to those who are in need.”
Donor Ornament
A fun way for your church to visually show participation in Shared Hopeful Gifts is through the donor ornaments! Download the file, cut them out, have participants write their name on an ornament once they’ve donated, and hang them on a tree or on a wall in your church.
