Lebanon – Camps for Vulnerable Kids

This project funds programs for vulnerable children in Lebanon. BCYM holds 19 non-residential three-day Camps for vulnerable children aged between 8 and 13, and 40-45 one day follow up events each year.  The children are either refugee children from the unrest in Syria and Iraq or Lebanese children who have suffered neglect or abuse.  The Camps provide several spiritual and recreational activities over 3 days.  The follow up days are similar and provide the opportunity for BCYM leaders to nurture relationships with children from the Camps and answer any questions they may have.
