Not all Kui villages have schools and some only have schools available up to 5th standard. This means students have to travel to other areas to go to school, and the number of students accepted into the schools are limited. Therefore, parents are giving preference to boys to go to school rather than girls. This project aims to increase the number of girls who are able to attend school by providing them with secure accomodations and meals near the schools. Preference will be given to girls from families living below the poverty line. We expect that if a girl is well educated then there will be great transformation in the community as well as in society.
