The aim of this project is to raise awareness among the inhabitants of the communities of “Eterna Primavera” and “Pinares del Lago” regarding waste mismanagement and the devastation it is causing on local water sources. Project activities include training on proper waste management practices, meetings with municipal authorities, provision of necessary equipment and a series of Clean-up campaigns with a specific focus on changing the perception and behaviors of children and youth with the hopes of a greener future for the region.
