- Pray for peace and stability in Eastern DR Congo, where ongoing conflict continues to displace many. Pray for relief and hope for those suffering in refugee camps.
Asia
- Pray for the preparation and teaching of young rural pastors in East Asia this month. Pray for safe and fruitful training that equips them for effective ministry.
MENA
- Pray for churches and pastors in Egypt as they prepare for New Year and Eastern Christmas celebrations on January 7th. May these activities bring peace, joy, and God’s presence to their communities.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for Patty Nacho as she begins her new role as the Latin America Team leader this month. Ask for God’s guidance as she leads and directs the ministry work.
Europe
- Praise God that 10 CBM colleagues were able to witness God’s amazing work in the Chinese community in Göttingen, Germany. A highlight of their visit was attending the Baptismal Service on December 1st, where three new believers publicly declared their faith in Christ. Please pray for these new believers as they grow spiritually and become a testimony of God’s grace within their families and on their campuses.
North America
- 2025 is a year of renewal and revival, especially for struggling churches. Pray for the churches in Ontario and Quebec to be places where God’s love is felt, and His Kingdom is advanced.
Africa
- Pray for the Africa Team as they begin the new year. Ask for safety, good health, wisdom, and strength as they plan and implement activities.
Asia
- Pray for Joseph and Lilian’s teaching and preaching ministry in January. May their efforts strengthen the faith of local congregations and glorify God. Pray also for our project partners in Thailand and Myanmar as they begin their 2025 projects. Pray that their ministries will be effective and meet the needs of the local communities.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for the Summit on Discipleship, planned for March in Bogotá. Pray for leaders preparing mentoring and discipleship plans to strengthen their ministries.
MENA
- Lift up CBM’s partners, Thimar and ABTS in Lebanon, as they serve war victims and displaced families while supporting local churches. Pray for wisdom and resources as they navigate these challenging times.
Europe
- Pray for the upcoming meeting this month with Christians from Marburg and Göttingen who are interested in entering full-time ministry work in the future. Pray that the participants will recieve clarity about their calling and about their preparation for full-time ministry.
North America
- Pray for the two SENT teams traveling in January – Kurios (Guatemala) and Listowel (Bolivia). Pray that they might be a blessing to CBM’s partners and staff.

- Pray for a good response to CBM’S financial needs. Due to the challenges with the postal strike, we have seen a short fall to our budget.
Europe
- Pray for new co-workers in Kassel as they partner with pastors to lead the church in unity. Pray for spiritual growth and effective evangelism in the coming year.
MENA
- Pray for healing and peace in the Middle East as the situation continues to be highly volatile.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for church partners in the region as they finalize proposals for 2025 activities to support their communities and churches. Pray for clarity and alignment with God’s mission.
Africa
- Pray for resilience among communities in Africa affected by the impacts of climate change. Pray for effective solutions to address these challenges.
Asia
- Pray for Harvest, a new partner in the region, as they learn to evaluate ministries through regular reporting. Pray for their growth and effective planning. The partner is also planning a mission retreat in Bangkok for Chinese missionaries in Thailand. May this event foster collaboration and renewed commitment to ministry.
Africa
- Pray for partner leaders in Africa who are struggling with leadership challenges. Ask for wisdom, grace, and strength to navigate these difficulties.
Europe
- Pray for the upcoming Youth Easter Camp in Germany for second-generation Chinese youth. Pray for the preparations, including spiritual content, music, and small groups, to impact the participants deeply.
MENA
- Pray for churches to remain steadfast and effective in their ministries despite ongoing challenges.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for the new leaders of some of CBM partner churches as we walk together in God’s mission. May we be filled with wisdom and discernment as we collaborate.
Asia
- Pray for Almaty Bible Institute in Kazakhstan as they prepare for their theological conference in March and April, as well as multiple teen and youth conferences throughout the year. Pray for strength, wisdom and energy as they make plans.
North America
- Pray for safety and protection for the Church Engagement Team as they travel during the winter months to meet with churches and individuals all across Canada.
