Hello, our dear friends,

I am Emad Botros, a global field staff serving with CBM in Lebanon. We really appreciate your prayers, and we always count on them.

Let me share with you a few prayer requests related to CBM work here in Lebanon and in the Region:

Prayer Points:

Please pray:

  • We are grateful to the Lord for the work ABTS graduates are doing in the Region. Let us pray for wisdom, strength, and the lead of the Spirit as they continue serving the Lord in very unique circumstances. May their hope be reflected through their ministry to others.
  • Please continue to pray for the stability of the political and economic situation in many countries in this region, particularly in Sudan.
  • We are all around the world facing serious financial challenges, and this puts more pressure on all of us. But let us continue to pray for the relief work of CBM to be a source of encouragement and that people can experience God’s love and care.
  • With all these challenges, the church in the Region is always in need of developing unique leaders who can serve people in such circumstances. Pray for the Seminary and its leadership as they continue serving the Church in the Middle East. Pray specifically for the new Master’s program we will be launching in September.
  • Pray for CBM’s new initiatives in Egypt. Pray for this time of discernment as CBM explores what God has in store for this country.
  • Please pray for the Strategic Leadership Development training led by CBM for 15 pastors in Egypt. Pray for a clear vision, the lead of the Spirit, and the enthusiasm of the participants.
  • Pray for our visit to Canada as a family. Pray for a time of rest and refreshment. Pray also for God’s lead for Timothy as he will be visiting some universities to decide on one for next year.
