China – Supporting Chinese Missionaries in Asia

This project is designed to help pastors, potential missionaries, or in-field missionaries prepare to participate in global missions. House churches in China have sent out missionaries to other countries for many years but these missionaries were not trained to work effectively in a cross-cultural situation. Many churches do not know how to support these missionaries after sending them. Therefore, many missionaries from China face challenges without help and support. It is necessary to prepare churches in China to be a sending body. It is also necessary to prepare potential missionaries and those already serving as missionaries to learn skills that help them work effectively in cross-cultural situations. This project will work with a house church network in China, Harvest Team, to provide mission training and mission retreat in Thailand for pastors, potential missionaries, or already serving missionaries from China. The ultimate objective is to prepare Harvest Team to become a platform to support missionaries sent from China to different mission fields.
