Jonathan Wilson is a Senior Consultant for Theological Integration at CBM. His role involves providing theological guidance and fostering the incorporation of these principles across CBM’s initiatives.
Jonathan’s journey with CBM began by teaching in the D.Min. program based in Kenya. His contributions have since expanded to include theological formation for the Africa Leadership Exchange, preaching and seminars at Arab Baptist Theological Seminary, and collaborative efforts with the Comunidad de Estudios Teológicos Interdisciplinarios (CETI) across Latin America. He has also worked with the International Baptist Theological Study Centre in Amsterdam, fostering connections between CBM and Central Asian Baptists, and developed an online course on “Ecological Crises and the Gospel.”
Jonathan has authored curricula on justice and an orientation to Integral Mission. He currently leads the Theological Education Working Group, an online community of CBM staff and global partners focused on theological education, while also providing theological oversight for CBM’s policies and practices.
Jonathan holds a BA from Welch College, an MA in Christian Studies and M.Div. from Regent College, and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
Jonathan is married to Soohwan Park, and lives on Vancouver Island where they offer hospitality, savor good food, and enjoy long walks.
