Prayer Requests
- As we get older, we are actually getting more involved and in more places. Our biggest supporters are also getting older, and sometimes passing on. Pray for new supporters to rise up to continue supporting our ministry.
- Pray for Goretty at the Emmanuel Foundation as she continues to look after the operations of the daily activities as well as overseeing the development of a new property. Pray especially for Laurita, who continues to battle leukemia, and is getting discouraged after such a long battle.
- The big event that Bill is gearing up for is a Latin American Summit on Discipleship (CLAD) from March 25-28 in Bogotá, Colombia (link for more info is: http://www.cumbre-latam.org/) . So far we have about 500 leaders coming from about 15 countries. Organizations supporting this event include Alpha, CRU (Campus Crusade), Awana, WEA (World Evangelical Alliance), LAEA (Latin American Evangelical Alliance), Alliance Church, Baptists of Latin America, Pentecostals of Latin America, and of course our Discipleship and Pastoring of Pastors (DPP) which is organizing the event. I’m sponsoring (with CBM help) 11 leaders who I’ve been working with from 5 countries. We’re hoping and praying that this will spark new initiatives, cooperative efforts, and maybe even revival.
