Paul and Kelly Carline were appointed by Canadian Baptist Ministries in 1995 for outreach ministries in the Northeast Province of Kenya. In 1997 the work expanded to include urban development
in Eastleigh, Nairobi. The Carlines engage in integral mission through relationship-building and witness, Sharing Way development projects in the towns of Garissa and Dadaab, hosting short-term teams and encouraging the Kenyan and Canadian church in Muslim outreach.
Paul was born in England and lived in Kuwait and the Bahamas before moving to Canada with his family in 1975. He came to Christ and was baptizd as a teen in New Brunswick and holds degrees from Prairie Bible Institute and Carey Theological College.
Kelly was born in Vancouver, BC, but grew up in Japan, where her parents were missionaries. She came to faith in Christ and was baptized as a young girl. After receiving her Bachelor's degree from Prairie Bible Institute, she taught English in China for a year and a half.
Paul and Kelly met at Bible school. They thank God for the opportunity they had to pastor a church for 6 years in Paul's home town in New Brunswick and for the subsequent years in cross cultural mission in Kenya.
The Carlines have four children - Katie (1990), Kara (1993), Kelvin (1997) and Kenan (1999).
